When breastfeeding my youngest, now 5, Anne noticed a lump. Went and got it checked out but didn’t really seem like much so was told to just monitor it. Fast forward to last October and they noticed that it was bigger and painful when poked/squeezed. Called the mammogram place but since this is the greatest healthcare in the world (tm) was told that they would need another referral. Jump through all the hoops, mammogram was inconclusive (breasts too dense) however the Dr. said ‘it doesn’t look good’ and that there were now four spots. Biopsy last week. Got the news just now. New Titties beats Single Dad hands down so I’m hoping for the best. Who fucking knows when we’ll know though.
No idea what rep icon to use for that, so I went with "love". Thinking good thoughts for you and yours.
Is there a max size insurance will cover? Think you can slip the surgeon a little under the table to plus up a bit more?
Good luck to both of you. I know the treatment is a bitch, and the waiting is even more of a bitch, if such a thing is possible. For whatever it's worth, I know a lot of women who went through it at a similarly young age and have been cancer-free for years now, and I'm sure the treatments have only gotten better since then. (And your ability to make gallows jokes about it will come in handy for keeping your sanity in one piece...)

I'm glad y'all caught it when you did. Do your own due diligence with the doctors and programs. Both of you can get through this.
Fucking hell, sorry to hear it man. Luckily sounds like it was caught early, and medicine is getting pretty good with it nowadays.

I was very confused by the ordering of this sentence, and for a brief moment I thought you were breastfeeding your kid and that your wife noticed a lump on you. I need more coffee... But I'm glad they caught this early enough.
If I were to be blessed with waking up and having natural titties you would have to pry them out of my cold dead hands. I cannot imagine I would be OK with breast cancer in the slightest. Especially any diagnosis that came from a man. There would just be that anger and WTF in me that would probably cause me to grab his stick and balls and squeeze until they pop for being so casual about the situation, even if he was being extremely sympathetic and nice. I would probably be on my way to god to stick a cute boot up his evil ass. You probably should kill me at that point being I would be ready to take a few people with me. That would probably trigger full demon mode and a lack of any caring for any living thing, except for maybe my children which I would not be able to birth myself because of not having a uterus, so it would be all around terrible. My condolences. I cannot even imagine the news and how it would effect someone.
