You know, if that’s all they do, they’ll be improving MY life because I’ll be less likely to encounter them.
How about armchair quarterbacking civilians recognize the fact that sometimes shooting the perpetrator is entirely appropriate?
Cuz they committed a crime? It's not ok for police officers to shoot guilty people, either. If the police or other NPC's (if you will) lives are in imminent danger, then, and only then, should lethal force be used. That is not what is happening. kids with their hands in the air, kids reading a book while walking home, a man talking on his cell phone in his back yard - none of those places anyone in imminent danger. No one is suggesting that police shouldn't use lethal force in those situations. We're only saying when that isn't the case, DON'T FUCKING SHOOT.
You do realize that those two statements are not at all in contradiction, don't you? The second one is by no means an "answer" to the first one.
Yea. They were fleeing an economic system. Is it just me, or does it seem weird that someone with a degree in History doesn't understand the historical significance and understanding of the differences between governmental and economic systems.
I am obviously only suggesting it when someone is an imminent, serious threat. I just reject the victim culture bullshit that paints those cases as murders.
The right to keep and bear arms is a Constitutionally enshrined basic right, actually referring to the right of self-defense, both individually and collectively. Without that, no other rights can exist. Owning and driving a car is a state-regulated privilege. The two are not at all equivalent.
You don't re-enlist when your term is up. There are other ways, too, but they're generally sub-0ptimal.
Not really. I just ... stopped playing commando and accepted that my knees are now fucked up and whatever the Army did for me in no way disavailed me from my guilt if I ever did have to kill another person. So, I stopped fighting the medical discharge.
Context matters. Care to tell the entire story of why "talking on their cell phone" could have been a factor in why they were considered a threat? Of course you don't, just like the MSM is reluctant to do so.
