You'd be surprised. I know some rednecks that are clever enough to take over the whole world, evil Bond villain style, but they're basically good people. So, they're content creating a perpetual motion device to get the their beer cooler, quicker.

If someone knows this guy and wants to set him straight - Liberals have been suspicious of the FBI and CIA since the 1960s. Also, just because we do, doesn’t mean we’re stupid enough to believe the bullshit that comes out of trump’s mouth.

Liberals have been suspicious of the FBI from its inception. Have the FBI frequently abused their power and violated civil liberties? No question. But these abuses are easily explained without resorting to cartoonish conspiracies. And Glenn Greenwald is a leftist shitbag who hates America so much he supported Trump.

My comment was specifically about the people. Not politicians. That’s why I didn’t say “Democrats”. But, yes, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party have both fucked over the people by selling us out to the 1%.

Most American people who lean left have been suspicious of the CIA and FBI since the 1960s.

Ok. So, you were just commenting on on my comment and not arguing a point. My bad.

Still, the gist of the contents of the tweet suggests that Liberals would blindly follow FBI/CIA public statements without question. That trump and only trump was able to see through their shit and question some of their decisions and he enlightened his supporters so everyone else is stupid.

In that context, please clarify your comment cuz I’m not seeing how corrupt Democratic politicians from 60 to 100 years ago has anything to do with the post.

Not sure where you’re getting this. I didn’t say anything about Democrats. It has long been part of the FBI’s mission to disrupt the activities of so-called political subversives, both foreign and domestic. Liberals have always been wary about targeting people based on their political beliefs, while conservatives didn’t mind as long as it was mainly left-wing groups being targeted. More recently a number of subversive right-wing groups have come under FBI scrutiny. The shoe is on the other foot and suddenly conservatives think it’s unfair.

Glenn Greenwald is neither a conservative nor a liberal. He is a far leftist who hates Democrats and the “establishment” so he shills for the far right because they also hate those things.

    > Kindle logs when you started each book, how long you spend reading

 99% of what I read on Kindle is the Bible and text files off the internet with unhelpful file names. They can't be very impressed with my reading habits.

Agreed. I'm not nearly so worried about Amazon, or any other corporation, knowing what I like and what interests me, as I am about them not paying taxes.
