I let my nephew deal with it. It took him a couple of years and I think he burried the portal somewhere in minecraft. I planted the seeed of BTD6 in his young little mind and he has now come back for a few days until the next shiny object comes along.

It sounds really dangerous to destroy twitter with something more insidious. It is why I am pretty much assuming Bluesky is either the new name of skynet after legion, or it is just the next largest dumpster fire that will consume the old dumpster on some sort of barge of dumpsters on fire.

I have to say this is shortsighted. Twitter is terrible, but something will come along that is worse. The twitter people are not going to all die in some great culling of the dumpsterfire lovers. They will find something worse that they can inflict on anyone with a working brain. At some point in time the people who market places like Twitter are going to recognize if they can force the rest of us to view twitter by linking the fire to something we cannot avoid like our banking and credit card purchasing we will all be forced onto the system.

This is not a fantasy conspiracy of mine. We know that Elon already has plans to make twitter the new internet by requiring us all to have a twitter account to do things online. Elon is the pre-beast. Eventually someone who is pure dumpsterblaze evil will figure out that every time we want to make a purchase we need to see tweets, it will become so. It is coming.

It has been tried by Apple, windows, AOL, myspace, Facebook, and now twitter. One of these people is going to make it work. That person will be Damien Thorne, and his user name will be satancock666

fix it up a little, convert it into a math lab . . . could be a radical opportunity that would generate dividends and divisors galore

I have a feeling there's something other than "the housing market is rediculous!" going on here. Either someone involved in that listing has no idea what they're doing, or houses in that neighborhood typically go for at least double that.

If it's the former, well, if it's a bad deal, it's unlikely to sell.

If it's the latter, well, how much does it cost to clean up after a meth lab? I'm guessing more than $10,000, but probably not more than $100,000. Buying a former meth lab for $1.5M in an area of $3M houses might actually be a really good deal.

From what I understand of the chemicals involved your standard cleaning product from walmart would clean any hard surfaces of any residue. A carpet is a different story. It shouldn't be any worse than any other hobby where you would use chemicals. The main toxicity with a meth lab is the vapors from cooking. if they weren't disposing the waste onto the floor or lawn the only places which might have a chemical problem would be a public sewer which should be clear by now, or the septic tank which you could pump out.

My other thought is that place looks like it is commercial or industrial anyway, and those places do not run the same as a residential property. If it has the possibility to run a business out of due to better utilities and parking then you would factor in potential income.

Making a former meth lab safe for practical purposes, I'd need maybe $300 for PPE and cleaning supplies, and a clear schedule for a day or three. Having it cleaned professionally, maybe $2-3k. That "former meth lab" label, however, it firmly affixed with layers and layers of red tape, and that stuff does not come off easily or cheaply. It might not come off at all, and the only way to rehab the property might be raze it to the ground and build a new house.

Also, that looks residential to me, but the Meth Lab Containment Fence is oddly placed for residential property and does kind of give it a commercial look.

Not only that but I would imagine being a meth lab the drug gang element is somewhat aware of it. That price might be an attempt to money launder anyway. I am not sure how that sort of thing works, but maybe an overinflated price has something to do with it.
