What the fuck is he talking about? His kid died of a fentanyl OD. He has money. The rich can pay for multiple methods of rehab and have their children committed. It sucks his kid died, and it sucks that drug addiction is hard to overcome, but he had options as a white guy with money. The hard part about certain addictions, especially opiods, is there is a lot of times there is nothing you can do to stop the use.

One thing that might have saved his kid would have been legalization of things like heroin which would have allowed his child to get good quality heroin that was not potentially spiked with fentanyl. Countries that have done this have made functional junkies that are a lot safer because they can maintain safe drug use. It is not a perfect solution but some people simply cannot quit once the addiction starts. A functional person who is using can at least be a part of society and live for many years and have loving relationships with their family without dying from an OD.

 

Do you really think a third party of humans being paid by the wealthy to vote a certain way, will behave any differently than the humans in the other two parties?
