Not sure if this should go in the Twitter thread or here but it is hilarious. https://twitter.com/oneunderscore__/status/1659570839510040577
Apparently she's staying but is being dropped from prime time. Word is that Hannity will be the Carlson replacement.
he says he doesn't watch faux news, but he sure is taking it hard that hannity is next up in the soon to be fired slot.

For the side that screams about entitlement, they sure feel entitled to corporate platforms to sling their mouth turds.
They've lost 50% of their viewership in Tucker's old time slot. https://www.thewrap.com/fox-news-ratings-cut-in-half-tucker-carlson-ouster/
Gee, it's the same news data wise. Wonder what's missing. Wonder what magical mystery ingredient the racist-thanksgiving-uncle audience is finding lacking...

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/05/26/media/tucker-carlson-doj-criminal-hacking-probe/index.html The Department of Justice has opened a criminal hacking probe into how behind-the-scenes footage of fired Fox News host Tucker Carlson was leaked to media organizations in recent months, according to a letter the federal agency sent the right-wing cable network this week.
He’s back on Twitter and the reviews are what you’d expect. https://twitter.com/iwriteok/status/1666353652968361984?s=46&t=iYW3foyqIA6Tn8VWwn3nwQ
OMG. He had to have been joking right? https://twitter.com/therecount/status/1667143475307880450 Right? I mean obviously not with his ‘point’ that Messi needs to learn English, I can believe Kilmead is dumb enough to believe that. But the comparison to David Beckham. His statement that David Beckham learned to speak English when he came over here to play. That had to be a joke… Right?
FOX has issued a cease and desist against Tucker's new Twitter show over plans to cover the Trump indictment. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/en...-and-desist-letter_n_64871fe9e4b025003edec63a
The Knowledge Fight guys review Tucker Carlson's latest show. I'm not advocating anyone listen to it, but if anyone wants to listen to folks spending around an hour and a half, talking about the show, there ya go. They rip it to shreds, but I could have done it in half the time.
Now that Fox has hit Carlson with a C&D letter threatening him with legal action for violating his "no-compete" clause he's got an interesting choice: whether to fight it and perhaps blaze a new trail for worker's rights in the fight against no competes or just knuckle under. Sounds like a lose-lose to me... ETA: or is it a Kobayashi Maru?
FOX's loss of Carlson has not diminished their ability to perform rigorous, cutting-edge journalism that speaks truth to power: https://crooksandliars.com/2023/06/right-wing-media-has-meltdown-over-biden #buthisenamels?
So, looks like the "rogue" person at FOX who put up the "wannabe dictator" banner was Tuckum's former producer. Or FOX could just be scapegoating anyone connected to Tucker in order to clear house. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/en...-dictator-fox-news_n_648c34cfe4b04ee51a9ade0d
A somewhat shitty article on the number of views Tucker's Twitter videos have gotten. I say that it's shitty, because it points out that the metrics everybody uses are wrong but doesn't do anything to correct them. So, they'll point out that the numbers Twitter publishes are based on the number of people who scroll past a video, while the other numbers from outside groups, count the numbers if a person actually watched a second or two of a video, while Neilsen numbers (which we don't seem to have for Twitter), require someone to watch a video for at least a minute or more. It's broadly bullshit, but we do see indications that Tucker's popularity varies wildly over the videos he's published.
Fox News Agrees to Pay $12 Million to Settle Hostile Workplace Suit The settlement with a former producer, Abby Grossberg, is the latest development in a series of legal battles involving Fox.
