I already decided last Christmas it's going to be Janelle Monae, because I really want to look good in a suit next time. (I was also very sick and extremely high)

I want to be around as long as KJ and the boys need me. I want to be around long enough that any grandchildren remember me. I'm in pretty good health so far but I guess we'll see.

    Location: Detroit. Checks out.

Seriously, hope you live to a ripe old age. One of my favorite books the main character had a mantra, he wanted to live to be old and then stepped on by an elephant while he was making love.

    Seems plausible.

How long? Not long, because what you reap is what you sew.

I guess if it's cotton, maybe, but otherwise I think you reap what you sow.

I've already lived longer than the doctors expected. My grandfathers lived until their 70s. My maternal grandmother to 71 and paternal grandmother to late 90s. My father till about mid 70s. My mother till 63. I'm currently 52 and was told a heart transplant is not in my best interest. A recent MRI showed extreme damage to the right ventricle. The current pulmonary valve seems to only have a mild to moderate leak. I got that valve in 2002 and was told it would only last 5-9 years.

My future is very uncertain. I could stay like this for years or have a sudden deterioration. But that is how my entire life has been.

My tree is all over the map. Anything 80+ would be great, but one day longer than Uncle Albert would be good enough just for spite. :nyer:

The day you die, your last words will be a whisper: "Uncle Albert survives."

@Uncle Albert is the cigarette smoking man, every time you think he’s dead, he comes back.

On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.
