Angry Optimist: The Life and Times of Jon Stewart https://www.amazon.com/dp/1250014441/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_iO7SvbKY87YJD Reviews of this book have suggested the books describes Stewart as an ass.
I like both Stewart and Colbert (and Oliver). I think Jon Stewart started playing things a little looser when he became a lame duck, which is good and bad. The loss of most of the long-timers (Sam Bee and Jason Jones) in the past year has led to less cutting commentary from the correspondents, although Jessica Williams is doing her best to hold it up.
I won't go that far, but I do like John Oliver. He's the only reason I would even consider a subscription to HBO at the moment.
I can see from flashlight's repping activity that he doesn't beleive evidence matters. I'm sure this information will come in handy.
Evidence of what? That Stewart is a thin-skinned jackass? Anyone paying attention for more than 5 minutes would know that. I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone finds Stewart entertaining. His entire act is nothing more than leering and yelling at the camera. He's not a tenth as clever as he thinks he is, not to mention his disingenuousness by being a flaming liberal pundit masquerading as a "comedian." "You can't criticize me, I'm a comedian."
Guess I'm one of the few here that has always found Stewart funny. I loved his segment during the 2012 cycle when he kept pointing out how fox news was always ignoring Ron Paul.
