In the realm of cancer sucks @Bickendan , the first girl I ever had a crush on did not live out of her teens due to this particular cancer. She was not sickly from what I saw, and she was nice enough to actually give me a chance being she was a fairly popular girl and I was certainly despised by the class for some reason. I watched her family go through losing a child in their teens due to that. That is just enough time to start seeing that flower in full bloom with all the opportunities of life and then just destroy it.
