That’s what’s not okay, particularly applied to ethnic or national groups.

I think we need full context of what Trump was saying. Did he mean literal extermination as in gas chambers or did he mean we need to exterminate them via the ballot box as in vote them out?

Just make a "suggestion" that somebody might be a "problem" and it's not your fault if somebody takes you literally.
