Why do you post on WF despite your complaints about the admins?

Many reasons. One being that I only have one or two people in real life who I can talk about Star Trek with. Others being that I still like certain posters here, despite our differences and despite the fact that they often piss me off. Also, a lot of my friends don’t want to discuss the things we discuss on here. I also have friends with diverse political opinions that I don’t feel comfortable discussing certain things with them and don’t want to stir the pot too much. WF is an escape for me, it allows me to be antisocial in public. Sometimes I feel more comfortable talking to you guys rather than my friends and family, even if you piss me off. UA and Dicky fights are entertaining.UA and Spaceturky fights are entertaining. Watching Jenee say stupid shit is entertaining. Watching the left eat itself over various disagreements is entertaining. Dispute what you may think about me, echo chambers on other sites that I might agree with gets boring after a while. You guys have memes I can share with my real life friends. Some people turn me on to music, movies and tv shows that I often don’t hear about in the real world. The heart wants what the heart wants. Etc, etc.

Cool, so you understand why a lot of people wouldn't immediately give up on the connections they have on Twitter and cede that space simply because Musk bought it.

The difference is that I don’t hate any of you. The people on the left irrationally vehemently hate Musk. It’s an irrational hate, in my opinion. @Order2Chaos rightly pointed out John Oliver’s piece on Musk. There are things to like about him and things to dislike about him. My personal opinion is that he should go back to focusing on Space X and ignore all of the culture wars. Space X was able to accomplish what NASA thought was impossible and I appreciate that.

I don’t hate Musk. I despise his hypocrisy and sense of entitlement, not to mention his whiny portrayal of himself as a victim. I don’t hate anyone on this board. I save that for people I’ve met.
