I'm sure when whale oil went away, some newspaper douche was hugging a jug of it and crying.

FCC votes to restore Net Neutrality. A shame it took this long, but another notch in Biden's belt for a sane America.

Elect a clown, get a circus.

Was reading a piece today, and one of the journalists recounted asking a Trump high level advisor if they considered the posse commitus act when talking about sending the military to the border to enforce immigration policy. It required a special waiver by congress, as you can't normally use the military for law enforcement in the US. The advisor had no idea what that was, and when it was explained to him, said 'I"ll get back to you on the Hakuna Matata provision tomorrow.' Needless to say, he did not.

The report later followed up with a different senior advisor and asked if they had considered that in their plans. That advisor laughed and said 'We'd have to have plans to consider that in our plans.'

    Just unreal.

Not that I should answer for @Thoughts and Prayers, but that was extreme sarcasm.

Dafuq you talking about? @steve2^4 assured us that ending net neutrality was a good thing, and surely an FCC chairman who was shat on by Mark Hamill can't be wrong. Because if he was, that would mean Steve was just another stupid Boomer.

You know, flashing back to how everyone used to say that people thought of him as "Obamessiah" (used to have a smiley for it...is that smiley still an option?) when no one did, and by contrast Trump and Trump's followers have compared himself to literal Jesus....

Much like some other recent rulemaking, it apparently simply takes this long to finalize it. Every one reported out in the last week or two someone somewhere says "Yeah, Biden wanted to do this when he took office but it just takes this long."

If she isn't ashes in the wind, she's at least worm food, so at least we don't have to hear what her takes on Biden would be.

Biden got $1.7 billion for Project Moonshot, an ambitious take on ending cancer in our lifetimes. Remember, Biden's son Beau died of brain cancer.

Congress blocked renewal of funding. Why? Because we can't have too many wins for Biden leading up to the election.

In the meantime, not only does this kill people who don't have to die, the cost of cancer both in terms of lost productivity and treatments is well over $200 billion a year.

And 600,000 Americans die of cancer still every year.

I'm devastated by "net neutrality" raising its empty head again.

It's like regulating the meat industry by codifying the required temperature of your refrigerator.

It's like regulating water by focusing on the neighborhood pipes while ignoring the source.

I take solace in knowing it's a meaningless political policy to gain the idiot bit-torrent vote.

At least it costs nothing and does nothing.

Whose service will I disrupt today?... This will not go unpunished!
