yeah, like seriously... he's against a bill to curtail prison labour wherein the prison corporation takes in 90% of the wages earned while often being the "producer" of whatever products inmates are making. Of course, all those wages are spent at the in house commissary.

this is on top of undercutting the private sector/domestic production of competing products.

so slavery is fine, so long as it's under colour of 'law'. cool.

and if I die after defrauding somebody or with an outstanding debt, my heirs and the money that has been made from that debt or fraud is rightfully theirs. Those owed and their heirs are SOL.

We've had THAT discussion here - extensively - while you were away, but in the interest of not diverting everyone's attention I'll table the point for now.

You would not be breaking up anything but the typical rantings of @Uncle Albert and Federal fuckup, and since you are more intelligent and offer up a decent presentation of facts and experience I would say have a blast if you are so inclined to want to. The thread could get back on topic considering where it is presently at.

Just for the sake of a statement of where I am at in the discussion. I think we are at a point where inclusion has started and the discussion of fairness in competition has to be had while going towards a future of inclusion of the trans community. Most of us play recreational games, and schools and colleges should be where you learn recreational games. Schools should be about playing the games rather than recruiting for the pros IMO.

We have leagues for most games, and that should be where they properly study and make handicaps or restrictions based on their experience and competative values. As for the top end of competition I really have better battles of protection and rightsd to fight about. As far as I am concerned when it becomes a priority to deal with the one in a million trans champion getting their shot at playing a fucking game, there will have been a huge change in society where that can be addressed in a much more enlightened environment.

As for right now I see the participation in leagues and school sports as important for socializing and being a part of the community so the ability to participate with peers is important for trans and other people and we should be looking towards doing that. If the compromise is we do not let trans women onto the olympic team or in profesional sports competitions of the best of the best then ok. I am all for selling out the obsessed champion with the mental issues that pushes them to the top for the rest of the girls to be able to play games with each other, than sorry to the champions.

Because I understand that my right and ability to exert control begins and ends with my physical presence.

As opposed to desperately posing for the accolades of people on the internet? I think I'll be ok.

See? I predicted your response pretty well.
And yes, there is virtue in acts forced on people. For instance, I'm forced by law to validate your right to exist. Just because I disagree with your choices doesn't change that. You still have a right to exist. Otherwise, I could just shoot you in the head.
I'm honestly shocked I have to spell it out like that for you. You're so desperate to disenfranchise trans people that you're advocating for anarchy, so long as someone is still around to defend your right not to be killed.

Word salad, dishonestly conflating "refrain from interfering" with "actively validate." NO, they are not the same concept at any level, not comparable in any useful way. Refusing to play Gender Make-believe with you is not remotely similar to killing you. Not in reality, where objective facts trump all.

And no, the opposite of overgrown, intrusive authority is not "anarchy." Been awhile since that turd floated by.

See, this is why I defined our terms.
Validating someone's right to exist IS exactly what the principle of murder is built from. Thus the legal aspect of validity. Recognizing the existence of people isn't asking you to "play gender make-believe".
You talk about objective facts, but you don't seem to really use them yourself. You either dint realize, or are unwilling to acknowledge, that denying the validoty of someone's existence IS opening that door to anarchic chaos.
You can deny the validity of trans people competing in sports. You can deny the validity of using hormone blockers, you can Make arguments about that all you want. There can be a debate, with facts and figures and measured responses.
You can't deny the validity of the existence of a whole group of people.

OK, so you're just full of shit and hiding it in florid emotional "logic."

Nobody's "validity" depends on me or any other external party, and nobody has any right to my efforts towards that priority. I have every right to express an opinion that's contrary to your gender fantasies, and that has exactly fuckall to do with the obligation not to initiate violence.

You can exercise all the opinions you want. I'm still not sure what you are objecting to, in general.
You don't want kids to know trans people exist? Or... what? I don't know. Honestly, you just seem angry for the sake of being angry.

    I don't want coercion.

    Knowing someone exists isn't coercive.

Mandating any action towards acknowledging, placating OR validating them is.

And no, me refusing to use the language someone else demands is absolutely fucking not coercing them to do a single goddamn thing, so don't even try that bullshit.

you keep claiming this "posing for accolades" thing, but have yet to point out an example.

interesting that you think your physical presence should give you the authority to "exert control" over anything... see, I think that's the real difference here. I know that my right to swing my fist ends a reasonable distance from another's nose... and that it's probably better to just keep my hands in my pockets in the first place. You, otoh, have shown us that you'll blame their nose for getting in your way.

You see, you pitiful little narcissist, living in a society requires taking responsibility for both your actions and inactions...
but don't worry, people like me will still be around to take care of you the same as we take care of the others in a couple more years when you're no longer semi-productive.

Free speech. Use of facilities. Undermining parents by shoving politics at their kids. They are adding sentence enhancements for misgendering, taking away kids for refusing to pump them full of dangerous drugs for no medical reason. Coming after people's jobs, money, family, entertainment and freedom for refusing to play along with this nonsense.

"Live and let live" just means we put up with each other. It does not obligate anyone to placate you and your delicate emotional state, and does not make anyone who refuses their participation a "bigot".

You, every time you go on about your pious works of compassion that totally isn't a prison diversion program.

Over myself, my efforts, my priorities and property, absolutely.

Horse shit. You are either lying or that broken collander you call a memory is failing you again.

Is that your chickenshit way of asserting some kind of unconditional collectivist obligation? Sell that crap to somebody else.

See, there's that sanctimonious moral preening again. Go fuck yourself, Florence Nightingale.
