Doesn't have to be, they just have to be in key positions in elite schools like Harvard that sets the standard for the rest of the country.

FFs point was as far from the point as Diacanu’s response. No one in academia sets standards for public schools.

If they did, the abundance of Harvard conservatives gives lie to the "almighty indoctrination factory" bullshit about Harvard, and thus the whole anti-school charade of conservatism.

Activism is good. It means you stand for something. Now, what you stand for certainly matters, but this idea of a teacher being a neutral party to life as it happens needs to die. I *want* teachers to talk about the civil rights movement. Shit happened that affected millions of lives. That is deserving of study. That deserves being worked out. Humans are, by their vary natures, biased. We process data differently from brain to brain. Two people can see the same event and come to totally different conclusions. I don't want children trained to be automatons, acting as if they're only observing humanity from a distance. They're in the thick of it, a part of it, experiencing it. They might as well learn about it and reflect on their place in it.

This. If you have someone taking an anti-LGBT stance, pushing it into classrooms, and a teacher taking a neutral stance, then the anti-LGBT stance will have room to grow as there's no one to counter the narrative.

So says the guys who are angry because the school does not outright punish any child for being gay and trans. Al wants the GLBT kids to be told they are some sort of perversion, and not show any acceptance and permission to them for being themselves.

The only person trying top enforce their agenda and indoctrinate kids into the religious hatred of the GLBT community is the republicans and so called libertarian communities. By permitting children to be who they are individually you are specifically not imposing any agenda on them, and that tolerance is exactly what UA is doing.

Tolerance is only an agenda to the intollerant. Other than that it is actually freedom and liberty to be yoursel;f unless you are wanting to hate on people and tell them your way of being.

Good one, and imagine the world asking the permission of some fucking shut in barely passed his GED shut in from nebraska what they shoyuld be teaching in school.

People who are republican and libertarian are the exact people you should specifically exclude from any discussion on what should be taught to children in school due to their desire to be wrong and ignorant. These are the same people who tell you that you need to think outside the box and 2+2=4 is some government conspiracy to indoctrinate you into common mathmatic concepts. You should never ever listen to them, and you have to deprogram any child who believes them so they can participate in society.

Only in recent times have centrists and contrarians been bamboozled into thinking superstition and bigotry are precious, even if they (allegedly!) don't believe it themselves.
In the 40's-50's, this country had no problem cold-bloodedly rolling over rural superstition so we could graduate enough rocket scientists to beat the Nazis and then the Russkies.
Guess those victories made us cushy and comfy enough to listen to the bigot whining again, and their pathetic gaslighting about it being "liberty".

The contrarian angle did switch. Back when I was young I was the contrarian because I was clearly not religious. My parents never made me go to church, and I was basically on the freak anti-established religion side. Then the atheist agnostic backlash became mainstream and then it was contrarian to embrace religion. I do not think we are fully there in rural america yet, but the right found that they liked being the so called rebel victims rather than the opressors forcing their indoctrination of christian morals and values on the atheists, blacks, women, and GLBT people.

There was a general shift in 70's and 80's media that started with punk and comics like carlin, pryor, SNL, Bill Murray, and other people. Then you had the freaks overcoming the richies and elites movies of the time. There was somewhat of a shift from republicans embracisng the rule of the Ivy league college elites to pretending they were for the blue collar worker while they worshipped at the feet of idiots who bought their way into elite colleges. There was a shift in the left to more nerd culture that has always been resented by the working class religious idiots.

Now the right wants to think of themselves as the freaks who will come from behind to beat the nerds who have taken over their place in power. GLBT, Black, Hispanics, and women were all more likable than the loser right wing working man, and that wasn't because of movies. That was because the right wing common man was a gigantic bully fascist douche. Thjey just thinik it is being contrarian that made the left nerds cool, and really it was we are nicer and better people over all. We just cannot let the bullies back in.

That being said we do need to watch the leftists. It was clearly obvious we needed to kick many in the atheist and gamer cults over to the INCE$L right where they belong. Of course there are some assholes on the left, but they have been sliding to the right a lot.

Once again dishonestly miscategorizing. The only thing I am "anti" is people imposing their will on each other. You know this, which is why you will both now respond with the usual clown word salad.

Now he is saying gender isn't real as his argument. Gender is a fairy tale we tell ourselves and UA does not entertain any gender ideology at all. It is all fantasy bullshit and that is why UA wears a skirt all the time because it is a lot easier for a guy to be in a skirt than those binding pants. Pants are inconvenient and annoying when you do not need leg protection so when UA is out and about town on his bike he wears a short skirt because it keeps him cool while allowing him the movement and flexibility to pedal his bike or kick someone in the throat if he needed to.

Oh wait, UA does none of that and adheres to toxic masculine gender ideology?

so much for UA being a free thinker.
