Never any doubt in my mind.

The run-back added a nice theatrical bit of drama but there was never any real chance they were going to lose.

There's quite simply the best evah, and they have the best evah quarterback.

He's so good, not only is he having the best year a quarterback ever had, but he's knocking boots with this:

You can't have a better year than that!

    Congratulations to the Pats.

Brady's girl is way too skinny, though. ;)

That's right. Brady left his pregnant girlfriend so he could tap some Gisele Bundchen.

Here's the one he dumped for Bundchen. Personally, I think he traded down. I guess he's a send a check daddy.

You know what... I've hated the Patriots since they opposed the Bears in Superbowl XX, but I have to give it to them.... it seems like this team is the best that have ever done it... I was actually rooting for them last night. I want then to win the Superbowl this year So that I can witness history. I wasn't even 1 y/o when the Dolphins had their perfect season and the 85' Bears lost one to Dallas.

... but I wanted to dedicate this post to the NY Giants... I hate them too. Ever since I moved to NY, all I get every sunday is the Giants and Jets shoved down my throat. It wouldn't be so bad if the networks would show another big game every now and then, but in this part of NY, we have to settle for ESPN or a Sunday Ticket to see any other team play. After going 6-2 the first half of the season without beating a single team over 0.500, I had them pegged tro finish at 6-10.

With that said, I have to give it to them... it was a meaningless game for them, and they went out there and gave it their all... They came to win last night and ended up giving the Pats their toughest challenge all year... Even better than the Colts. I think that the Giants might surprise a few teams in the playoffs to come. Even in defeat, they sent a real message to the rest of the NFC... The Giants are for real.

    To the NY Giants... :techman:

I'll trade ya! I get the same story with the Titans and the Panthers. I'd like to get the Jets and Giants games.

That would be the Dolphins that beat the '85 Bears. ;)

We've had this discussion before, but you're screwed because not only do you live in a market other than the one where your team plays, you live in a market with two teams. If the Giants or Jets are playing, that's the game that's going to be shown in the New York market.

You think a Denver fan living in Chicago is going to see many Broncos games on a local broadcast?

I'm really in no position to discuss Brady's breakup, and i doubt you are. for all you know the ex is a gold-digger you purposely got preggers and he dumped her for that.

For all I know, he's just an ass.

But he's a damned talented Ass.

Yes he is, but he still traded down. :D Bridget Moynihan was hot when she was on "Sex and the City." Gisele's skin and bones.

I'm a football fan first and a Bears fan second... I'd settle for a Pittsburgh game here and a Dallas game there. This year had a number of big games that I would've missed if I hadn't found a sports bar with the NFL Sunday Ticket. New Englad-Colts, Dallas-Green Bay, San Diego-Denver... I'd never see any of it if it wasn't on Sunday or Monday night. Back in Chicago, this wasn't the case.

Like I keep saying: You live in a two-team market. If the Giants play at 1pm and the Jets kickoff at 4pm, those are the games that will be shown in the NYC metro area. I'd imagine that the same is true of the 49ers and Raiders in the San Francisco/Oakland area. The local teams take priority.

One thing the networks will do that drives me nuts is only showing one game per day. I love football, too, and I like it when they show an early game and a late game. It stinks when FOX, for example, will show the Cowboys game at noon and that's the only game that they run in this market that day. It's worse when the Cowboys are the late game and they show nothing from noon until 3pm!

Fortunately, FOX and CBS both don't do that and, if one network isn't showing a game at a given time, the other one usually is.

All I can say is...I still hate the Patriots.

If only because they play like thugs.

Hell, Brady even looks like a convict.

Besides J-Ville/Pittsburgh this weekend's games look to be really 'meh' worthy.

Dallas could be in trouble if today's Eli Manning turns up next week

On top of that, it's difficult as hell to beat a team three times in one season. :garamet:

If there's one thing Eli is, it's stoppable. I like him, but he's going to have his hands full (and his ass sore :bergman: ) next week.

I don't see any realistic way Dallas loses that game. There's much more of chance for Seattle to take out the Packers.

The Giants have hung with Dallas for 3 Quarters in both games, no reason they can't for all 4 this time around when they are hot as balls right now. Also, word is Owens ankle is still a mess and he may not play. We all saw against Washington what the Cowboys offense looks like without Owens.

He'll play. No doubt about it. Even if he's not 100%.

Now how effective he'll be is another question.

Shockey was a big reason why they hung close with them last time they played and he's out. Plexiglass might've come up big in their first game but he doesn't scare me that much.

A game where Romo only played a half and suck ass Julius Jones got the ball more than Marion Barber wasn't a representation of the Boys Offense without TO.

^ In the first game the Boys had no answer for Burress, and this time he's healthy again. Shockey was a bigger part of the 2nd game, but the Giants offense has been much better since Shockey got hurt, mostly because Eli is now spreading the ball around instead of constantly forcing it into Burress or Shockey.

Face it. Homo and the boys are going down. :bergman:

I know I live in NY, but I hate the Giants. I think Dallas should be shaking in their boots today because NY has hit a stride. I think it's anybody's game.

Dallas is taking this game very seriously, without Shockey I don't know if the Giants will really stand a chance. Of course, I'm counting on TO to make a difference today when I say that.
