That was a nice drive the Giants had at the end of the 2nd quarter

Giants win! They advance to the NFC Championship!

I hate to say I told you so, but hey... it's football and that's the fun in the game :diacanu:

I actually don't mind too much.

Dallas probably would've lost had they made it to the Super Bowl, anyway. :garamet:

What I've been saying would make a great "movie" story all season would be if Green Bay made it to the Super Bowl and they managed to beat New England. Sort of a reversal of what happened to Favre ten years ago, with the aging quarterback (Elway) beating the badass QB (Favre, back then).

But...that's a pretty unlikely scenario.

If anybody is going to make the Super Bowl this year besides the Giants in the NFC, I would want it to be the Packers. Seeing Bret try and slay the Patriot beast would be fun. If the Chargers pull off the epic upset then all bets are off and Bret must go down and he must go down hard.

I hate Dallas, Jerry Jones, and T.O., so I'm a happy guy this afternoon.

The Manning family will have to go to Green Bay next week instead of Foxboro (or Foxborough or however it's spelled). Bet they didn't expect that!

What a crappy way to end the season.

Can't argue with the scoreboard but with the Giants secondary being so injury riddled (RW McQuarters?) I can't help but wonder if things would've turned out differently if Romo had tried to open things up a bit early instead of riding Marion the Barbarian for a couple clock killing drives. Those are great when you're up by 2 scores and just trying to play keep away but when the game's close and you eat away time like that you don't really leave yourself with much room for error.

Romo is gonna have to win a playoff game to prove himself... I hope it's next year. It's been over 4000 days since the last time the Cowboys won a playoff game.

I love the Owens waterworks at the press conference too after the game. Oh this season started so horrible yet has turned out so sweet.

I remember listening to the same crap about Peyton Manning for years.

First it was: "Peyton ain't won a playoff game yet... "

Then it was: "Peyton ain't won the big game yet... "

    Now the silence is deafening.

I expect it'll be the same for Romo. I hope he fails miserably as a Cowboy, however, because I hates the Cowboys!

Tony's a great quarterback, he's just young. Not used to the increased intensity of the playoffs yet. The same is being said of Eli, but guess what, he's in the NFC championship next week.

I don't know what to say about the Dalas loss. It seems to me that they lacked a sense of urgency... as if they felt the game was theirs from the start... like the did in week 17 against Washington. Just no "umph."

Going for Green Bay in the NFC and the Pats in the AFC. I'd like to see the Pats make history this year.

Eli's also been a starter a lot longer.

That was such a fake cry. I really started to like him this season, despite all the crap from the past, then he fake cried. I'll stay mad at him until late August.

Would love to see the Chargers knock off the Pats, but don't see how it's gonna happen w/ the Bolts so banged up. Not unless Billy Volek is the second coming of Jesus. Which he ain't.

Definitely want the Packers to win in the NFC. Hates me them Giants.

I could handle a Pack v Pats matchup in the Superbowl. Would be rooting for Favre the whole way.

Favre needs to learn how not to throw INTs in the playoffs.

Darn. I was rooting for a Farve super bowl this late in his career (not a win of course, but at least getting there)

They'll have to take the Giant's seriously...what are they on, a five game run or something? And they played them well in week 17.

But still, I don't see the Pats losing.

Yeah I was rooting for the Packers too, nothing against the Giants but I wanted Farve to go out on top.

But I'm still rooting for the Patriots to lose.
