Sometimes, the NFL parity drives me crazy. The Giants, Skins and Cowboys ALL get upset in the same week? But my fantasy team won. I'm 4-2 anyway.
I hate NFL parity with a passion. My fantasy team tanked, but I'm still 4-2. I need Westbrook to get healthy.
Given his play in the last few games, I wouldn't be surprised that he's a little worried that his backup might look pretty good with Owens and Williams both lining up at wide receiver against the shitty Rams. I say sit him for at least this game and possibly the next week against Tampa Bay. Lately, he hasn't been able to hang on to the ball without a broken finger.
Romo rolling around the field in a wheelchair with two broken legs and an amputated arm would be better than this!
Can we write off the Cowboys yet? Please? Unless they get healthy, it's coming down to the Giants or Skins in the NFC East. Nice to see Joe Flacco finally have a good game for Baltimore. He's my oldest son's favorite player.
I just love how the Rams will suck according to the media, no matter what. First 4 games, they did and I'm willing to admit it. Last two games...suddenly it's "well, look at how awful the Redskins and Cowboys are--they can't even beat the Rams!!!"
Haslett's a much better coach than that other guy. Hell, he took the Saints to the playoffs and beat the Kurt Warner Rams.
WTF is wrong with the Cowboys? After hearing Jerry Jones and Coach Phillips talk in their post-game conferences and interviews, it's clear what's needed. There's no fire. No drive. No energy. It's gotta come from the top and it sounded like both men were mere moments away from breaking into tears. Jesus Christ on a pogo stick. Man up. Get it together and get it done. Lead! Bring energy or stay home.
There's no leadership in that locker room at all. Coaches or players. Somebody has to step up and start calling people on their bullshit. Missed coverages, porous offensive line, dropped passes. Fifteen years ago, Michael Irvin was that voice in the locker room, but since he retired no one has stepped into that role. We're getting goddamn tired of it.
I have mixed feelings about that game. I hate both teams equally, but a Washington loss would help my team. On the other hand, when the Redskins win the home game before a presidential election, most of the time the incumbent party keeps the White House. Not that I'm a McCain supporter. I'd just rather not see Obama become the next president. If Pittsburgh's offensive line doesn't play better than they have (they suck just about as badly as Dallas' does), it could be another rough evening for Turdburgler.
Quite possibly true for the Rams as well, now that their defensive players have figured out what the things on the ends of their things-that-look-like-legs-but-aren't-legs are for.
Good defensive game so far. The game had a strange start but is now settling into a defensive struggle. Redskins lead 6-3 with about 7 minutes left in the 1st half.
