But Federal Farmer has long been on record that violence against Nazis isn't justified unless it's in self defense after the Nazi has attacked first. It's wrong to harm Nazis just for being Nazis, he's told me many times.

So why would the existence of Nazis in the Ukraine change anything from his perspective? Wouldn't they still be the victims of Russia's unjust war of aggression?
