2024 General Election Thread

There were a LOT of women at the polling place when I was there today. Where I live in Ohio, it's a deep, deep red, but there were lots of younger women in line, and that there was a line was amazing, because in the 24 years I've been voting, I've never had to wait more than a few seconds going in, and today it was 20 minutes to vote, which is a lot for a tiny town like this one.

It's a nice hope that Trump's messaging has been made loud and clear.

It seems to be going really well for them.

It doesn't seem like it amounted to much of anything. So nothing to worry about at this point. If anything, it shows that election officials from both parties take this seriously, and addressed it immediately. That's a very good sign.

I actually met a poll worker with a sense of humor.. That was nice, because all the other ones were jerks. gives people a little bit of power and they turn into officious assholes.

With 12% of Indiana and 6% of Kentucky reporting, Trump had 63% of the votes.

Stop the count now and declare Trump the winner of all electoral votes or it's fraud!

Since we got nothing better to do we sit around and wait for the first Election Day votes to drop in Indiana so we can see how much ground Trump will make up.

So far all counties reporting are Harris over Biden by a little to a lot. Again, they are likely only the early votes.

Also, sounds like new bomb threats at GA polling locations in high black areas of Atlanta.

No word on if they are related to the earlier Russian origin ones.
