Far be it for me to find anyone hypocritical, but were I to do so, then the choice, to me, is clear.

To be fair, he wanted a name change and asked for suggestions. That and one other were about the only choices suggested, and that one IIRC won in a poll by a sizable majority.

About all the poster himself is guilty of is being silly enough to put his username up for public decision.

IT'S ALLOWED ON THIS BOARD. Each board is different. I don't HAVE to be, nor do I WANT to be, the same person everywhere.

While I can be a bitch in here or Gray room (and I'm not always, mostly I lurk in the RR and other forums), I am very careful to stay within the rules on the rest of the boards.

I'm not at all being a hypocrite. You're seeing more of the real me. Less polite and more importantly, just a poster here, so a bit freer. I'm free to call an ass like you an ass. IF I were a mod here (and that's not a hint, I'm not interested in ever modding again), I would have to throttle back just like I do over there. But I'm not, so I'm as free to be a dick as you are.

So no hypocrisy.

I respect the mods and admins here and if they tell me something, unless it's unjust (in which case I argue it), I comply. I enjoy WF and I operate within it's rules, just as I do at TrekBBS and anywhere else. Each board has their own atmosphere and their own set of rules and I adapt accordingly.

Unlike YOU, I've never been tossed off of any board. Because I don't have a problem figuring out how they run, and staying well on the right side of whatever rules they have. If I don't like their rules, then I just leave with no fuss.

Oh, I think you overestimate the extent to which you are actually able to toss people off your board, T'Bonz.

You overestimate me giving a damn. With some posters, the primary name is their "all". They don't have quite the same impact (or so they think) with a dual.
