I came across this by accident watching archery videos - yes it was a failure but it's still pretty cool! Enjoy

That Buck Rogers pop gun at the 28 second mark! I've got my dad's. Still pops if you work it just right.

    Story of my life. :(

The Gyrojet concept is interesting, but there are just too many negatives for it to ever catch on.

I should've phrased my thoughts in the past tense. I realize it's a technology from many years ago and is long defunct. I knew about it when I was a kid (when it was already obsolete).

    ^I have seen it's features.

Also the gyrojet rockets. Each round had to have it's rocket ports hand drilled. I want to get one to go next to my box of trounds.

I can't remember the name of the book, it was either one of the Poor Man's James Bond series or Spy Game Winning Through Super Technology. Whichever one it was, it talked about the gyrojet pistol and how to fix the problems. The solutions were fairly simple.

Fuck yeah. It’s one of the best bad movies from the 80s (which is really saying something).

Plus it’s got Kirstie Allie in a bra.

Haven't seen it in years, but I remember liking it well enough.
Young Kirstie Allie makes me pon farr. (Yeah, I'm mixing my Saaviks; deal with it.)

A former coworker of mine opened a gun store a few years ago. Today he posted this new item they have for sale.
