Otaku smell is pretty bad on day 1 of some cons. What do you expect when dealing with hotels that start at around 300 per night for bigger cons. Lots of people end up in a room where you cannot even lay down, or sleeping in their cars or wherever they can. Then there are he ones who are politically opposed to bathing in general. In places like DC you could probably crash in the video game floor that is open 24 hours and avoid a hotel room, and from the smell I think people were doing that.

They should really drag some people off to wherever the con center has a large hose and force bathe them. You do that a few times and the stinky ones will learn to stay away or have their coating of crust removed harshly.

We have one of those guys at a Trek convention I went to in 2010. My friend and I sat two chairs away, and you could still smell him, and it was rank to the point where our eyes were watering. He wore a permanent frown every time we saw him. I remember going that night to the conference hall to watch the Enterprise Blues Band perform (Jeffrey Combs, Casey Biggs, and others), and they were quite good. Quite a few of us in the front row started dancing with other people, and he was the only one who sat there, and he kept harrumphing and saying "some of us are trying to watch the band!"

I mean, there was lots of space to dance in the front row, and the Trek guys were encouraging everyone to dance if they wanted. I think one lovely young lady even offered to dance with him, but he told her something to the effect of not wanting to be bothered. Granted, it's his right to be angry and stinky, but I don't see how that could be enjoyable when you're paying $200-$300 for a hotel room, plus expenses and he was a Gold Pass member like me and my friend.

Something about outer space shows that attracts the allergic to soap crowd. Never ever go into gundam panel at an anime con. All I know is that after smelling a lot of the fans of space travel in enclosed spaces I am going with magical teleportation myself.

Of course, given some of the roles Vic has done I am pretty sure the fangirls act as a secure buffer to keep the unwashed fanbois away. The vic fangirls rival twitards at a Cullen family fan panel. To get near Vic would require some dedication and probably some titties popping out or panties to give him. Vic does more than just autograph sessions and panels which he sometimes blows off.

That's unfortunately all I can say, since his ace ex-wife disappeared from fandom after his goony fanboys ran her out and even then yourey gonna have most of fandom refusing to believe a bad word about their hero. Just don't be surprised when he gets his comeuppance.

I have not paid much attention to LK since I stopped living with one of his fanboys. I also know Doug went and fucked up a good thing with his channel and it's contributors. However, back in the prime of it all it was a blast to be at kamicon.

They were fun to watch in person, and his wife was well received at the time. They did pay attention to their fans and give a good show. It sucks that things blew up so bad, but things like that are what happens to a lot of people who get into entertainment.

I know from running my scenario game production business people have different ideas and arguments for their position. When it gets public then your fans start getting into it. Things which were once a bunch of equal people collaborating becomes a huge fan battle and the fans don't have the respect for other members of your team you have.

At one of my games I joked to the people around about stealing the hat of my friend and partner because I was frustrated with his direction. The hat was in my hands in less than five minutes, and he could not keep it on his head the rest of the game. I had to eventually hold it and give it back to him later. That ticked him off because he saw it as me being more popular to the players than he was. It was a somewhat mean thing to do, and it was done out of frustration with what he was doing. Then some of his people had some complaints about it, and people started trying to take things that I needed for the game from me. Little things get blown way up if you are not careful and sometimes you cannot take those things back.

My whole opinion on Doug Walker changed after the allegations about Jewario came out. I can’t stand to look at his face now, especially if he knew.

I cannot say I am familiar with all of it myself. I knew jewario killed himself. I know there was something fucked up that caused it, but as per what fucked up it was I do not know. Sometimes you don't know the real story from the outside.

Way back when me and my friend took in a roommate from our WOW guild. She was military, smart, had a kid, and wanted to get on her feet somewhere outside of Arkansas because Arkansas sucks. So we gave her the two top floor bedrooms of the house we lived in and I personally picked her up from Arkansas and moved her things because she had nothing. The deal was to get her a chance to get a job and set up and move away from nowhere and put her tech skills to work. We did not need money as we both covered our shit. Neither of us was sexually active or even interested.

She moved in, and I did daycare for her while she established a job. She got a job and even started dating. I let her drive my second car which I was supposed to sell for cash as a gift from my grandmother. I insured the fuck out of it, but I did not charge her a thing for it. You would not believe the crap she said about us to the guild. She said we were hitting her kid, that we tried to rape her, and that she was giving us sexual favors, I think she got off on the conflict. The reality was my roommate was very nonsexual and not interested, and I had my own people and was not looking for a girlfriend to take care of. So she had to make herself the damsel in distress and it broke the guild. One day one of the guys from the guild showed up to move her in with him to save her from us. We tried to warn him, but we let her go and found better guilds.

I know that crazy people spread crazy lies when the jump ship. I don't have a connection to anyone involved in all of that. I was not one of jewario's viewers, and I do not know what broke his heart so much he killed himself. He sounded like a nice guy. I don't know who the fucked up one was.

I help out people because that is something that I get warm fuzzies from. I have to keep it selfish because that keeps my help freeing a person rather than coming with expectations over their life. I will also cut ties real fast with a person not going my way. There is always someone to care for, but I am not going to take care of you.

I don't know how the drama went down and unless there is criminal conviction I don't really know what happened.

Yeah, he knew. Doug and Rob let slip who the mysterious groomer in the Not So Awesome document was in their not-apology with a time-stamped chat from five days before JW offed himself talking about one of the allegations and that they were letting him go. Most people made the connection.

Although, from what I've heard about his Catgirl Army, I don't know how more people didn't know what was up or questioned that he was chatting and calling underaged and barely legal girls like Vic here was.

I have no respect for the Walkers putting that out there as a way to get the heat off their own backs, but it's not like they respected their living co-workers, so why not throw a guy under the bus when he can't defend himself?
