If that was the case, I'm turning atheist.

We've had a total of 29 inches of snow so far this year and it's snowing again here in Delaware.

Global warming is leading to more most air, causing snow. At least that's what I've been hearing.

What kind of symbol would you use for a Bullshit Signal? That's what would be required for an Algore signal.

Global warming leads to less snow, and global warming leads to more snow. That's why, when it snows less, that shows that global warming is confirmed science, and when it snows more, that also shows that global warming is confirmed science. So we know that global warming is confirmed science, because everything shows it is.

Including the Properly Adjusted Data!

The snow is from normal oscillations, which are basically "weather". Supposedly this snow anomaly is separate from "climate."
So while you shovel out your driveway in Georgia for the next twenty years, keep in mind that the "climate" is getting warmer.
If a glacier starts to cover the northern half of the US, it's just a weather anomaly, nothing to worry about.

Any global warming is caused by the hot air coming out of the orifi of the so called AGW supporting scientists

I think we are getting warmer (at least in some respects, though the current 'it's always the hottest year ever' shit is just that) and I think we are affecting the environment. The big problem is that one of the major ways we affect the environment is simply existing. The primary answer to our environmental problems is less people.

That's also the primary answer to many of the other questions we face, including urbanization and the resultant expansion of big government.

Of course, who the fuck wants a bunch of people to die because it would make their life better?

    I mean, besides UA. :D

We had a little bit of ice storm, followed by a few more inches of snow. People are still driving like fucking idiots and passing me like I'm the problem, even as we are passing wrecked vehicles on the side of the road.

Saw a rolled Wrangler this morning. Guy even had the same kind of tires as me. Looked like he broke his front axle, among other things.

The city trucks aren't dumping salt. That's why the roads are staying so slick. They say it's too windy, and dumping a bunch of salt that just blows over to the drifts at the side of the road will just result in a worse mess on the road. So, while those roads look like they would when the snow has been cleared, that layer of ice is still there. You'd think all the wrecked cars and urgent warnings from the local media would be enough, but NOOOOOO, people still get behind me and act all pissy because I'm going too slow for their liking.

    14 inches of snow here.

I wonder how evenflow is doing?

I made an attempt to get to work this morning but it was impossible.

And I doubt I'll be able to make it in tomorrow either...

It's just cold here, no snow for us. I'm hoping by Thursday afternoon when I'm supposed to make my drive that the roads are decent again between here and Dallas where it is all iced up at the moment.

No precip and a decent ride home today, but we'd gotten 2" of snow with ice on top early in the day. We're scheduled for freezing rain all night turning to a downpour tomorrow. Considering all the snow berms everywhere that will act as dams, I'd say we're in for a nice flooding.

We may even get some snow on Thursday. :soma:

This was one hell of a blast, we're in the low twenties for three nights and under forty for highs.

Last year they forcasted a low in a stretch like this is turned out another ten degrees colder into the lower teens.

I just don't care for cold anymore. I had my fill in Mpls when it was forty below as a low and didn't get above zero for over a week.

I had to move my animals inside for the rest of the week.

Unofficial results from my driveway are 3" of snow topping 6" of ice! :soma:

But as the Eldest & I finished up busting out asses shoveling/clearing the driveway (most of it, at least), it started snowing again, and has been for awhile now. I'm guess there will be another decent accumulation for me to clear off tomorrow morning.

I so wish I was over there. I love blizzards, and miss having real, honest-to-God, nasty winter. Here, winter is just a cold, wet season, with a bit of snow now and then but never enough to really enjoy it.

    I miss blizzards. :(

    Blizzards are cool!

Snowed in for a week with a squeeze, I can't think of a better scenerio.

Out in the country where the city noise is non existant, the silence is deafening. Love it.

Yea, that and snowmobiles are what I miss about living in that zone.
