Surprised nobody has brought this up yet, but today is the 64th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima.
Still a lot of debate about whether or not the action was called for or just used to ensure that they beat the Ruskies to Japan.

64th. I normally celebrate this in the evening over dinner.

Actually, it would be the 64th anniversary.

Unless we bombed it again ten years later and didn't tell anyone. :ramen:

We expect to get protesters around here just like every year. Pretty much we leave them alone as they have the right to protest all they want as long as they keep it peaceful.

Only thing i would protest about is that you didn't finish the job.

Sadly, this year I will be unable observe this day as I've become accustomed and drive down to the USS Missouri and spit on a Jap.

100% justified but still a sad day. One has to remember that the Japs started and drove this runaway train the whole time. They could have not started it, or stopped it anytime they wanted to by surrendering.
