That's not what most of the conservative public figures quoted in this thread have been saying. It would be one thing to say "wait and see what the evidence shows." As far as I can see, only a few have said that. Most are skipping that step, assuming he's guilty, and trying to defend pedophilia itself or saying that they don't care if he turns out to be a pedophile. Irrespective of whether the allegations are true, these people are trying to defend and minimize pedophilia.

Whereas McCain, McConnell, and Collins, to their credit, have said Moore should end his candidacy if these allegations are true.
