What makes it any more or less official than the other 4 books that show up on the same page about Carl Sagan? There's at least 1/2 dozen other books about Sagan, yet you choose one to base everything on.

I've read several items indicating that you're a complete failure, incompetent in your work, a spousal abuser, and an utter moron for the last 13-14 years. Are those more valid than your own diary and the extremely exaggerated ego and opinion you have of yourself?

260 times more powerful does not mean 260 times bigger an explosion. If a 20 kiloton bomb will knock down a building a 1/2 a mile, a 20 megaton one won't knock the same one down at 500 miles. Explosive power doesn't scale that way.

In fact, a table in the Wikipedia article on the effects of Nuclear explosions shows a 20 megaton bomb has similar effects at 10 times the distance a 20 kiloton bomb does (despite being 1000 times more powerful). So, the blast radius seems to scale roughly with the cube root of the yield, which would be sorta expected since a bomb's destructive power comes mainly from moving a large, spherical volume of air.

gotta allow for wind currents though, you'd get more east and northeast than you would west and southwest.

    Something like this maybe...

The book seems to be pretty well regarded.

My dad used to keep old Scientific Americans to read in the bathroom. One day I was taking a shit, and read an article disproving your Sagan theories, Dayton. It was science. Anyway, we were out of toilet paper, and unfortunately, I had to use sheets from the article to wipe my ass.

Yeah, Zombie's link shows how the currents work pretty well. Not too mention being kind a fun.

I'm starting to think Thunder Bay might be a good place to move given the three nuclear power stations between Toronto and Chicago along that wind stream. That shit comes straight up the 401.

And you're certainly enamored with the cover. Still waiting for you to quote the words in the text that say what you claim they say.

And so so the other books as well, it's interesting how you disregard nearly everyone's opinions and ideas yet latch onto books written by others, containing the ideas of other and regard them as gospel.

    Well, yes.

Because you are indeed a complete fuckup and of little to value to society. And I accomplished far more by the time I was 30 than you have by now. This is easily evidenced and proven by reading your diary. And this statement will be well regarded.

It's okay. Dayton is the Antichrist. He's here to sow discord. Using Dayton's criteria for veracity, there are 81 verses in the Bible that say so.
