So, this morning while working out, I was surrounded by members of the Colchester United Football Club first team... there's something about hunky young men in skimpy shorts when it comes to boosting my spirits when I exercise. So what do you see at your gym that lifts your spirits...?
The attractive women at a gym would be what keeps me going there, however, my very out of shapeness(for me) is what keeps from going there. Which in turn keeps me from working out, which doesn't help my out of shapeness. It's a viscious circle.
Had to switch gyms when I moved aparments recently. This gym is a bit older, and I'm not as fond of some of the equipment. But there is one thing I'm digging heavily. The escalator-style Stairmasters are positioned directly in front of the elliptical trainers. So, every time I get on the elliptical for an hour of cardio, there is a good chance that I'll get a rotating view of sweaty women in tight shorts, bobbing their booties on the Stairmaster at about eye level. The time just flies by, for some reason.
Well, last time I was in Colchester gym I noticed this salivating middle aged woman learing at young blokes in tight clothes. Rather distastful. Put my off the gym and so instead I went to the pub, where I enjoyed the sight of several pints.
The gym I go to has the treadmills behind the stairmasters with a couple of treads right behind the stairs. Good view. Even better when you put the incline up to 30.....
