Went shooting at a little place in Bellville called The Bullet Hole yestarday. I got a couple of magsfull of .45 downrange when the rangemaster came over, saw my ammo box, and told me they don't allow Wolf brand ammo.

When I inquired as to why, I got the usual authoritarian "It doesn't matter why, you can NOT shoot Wolf ammo here," and pointed to some fine print on the booth wall. Okay, rules' rules, so I boxed the .45 and moved on to my .357 and .22.

The only reason I can think of, is that the range sweeps up the empties and reloads them for resale, and Wolf is steel-case throwaway shit.

At least I got enough rounds thru it to confirm it works okay with the replacement recoil spring.

Bummer, though. First time I got around to shooting in a couple years, and I get yelled on.

Being in Jersey, you can't burn your bridges in regards to shooting ranges. But yeah, they probably don't want to sort your steel cased stuff from the brass.

You can always piss them off and shoot a few thousand .22lr. :ramen:

    ^Well, I shot about 75 .22s :D.

Meanwhile the guy to my left was wailing away with a Glock and raining empties down on the bill of may hat! :garamet:

I think that's the major reason why.
