What the fuck is wrong with people? Who would do this sort of thing?

These people are worst than animals. Animals can kill but they never do so maliciously.

These people are primitives and hopefully they will be caught and removed from the gene pool.

This is why, when people speak of the end of the human race, I just shrug. I think the world would be better off without us.

Well, from a non-religious point of view...if the world would be better off without us, why would we exist? It produced us so we must fill some niche, right?

No that isnt how it works.
Just because we are here it doesnt mean we have a 'purpose' a 'place' or are 'meant' to be here.

We are animals....and it is not true that all animals never kill maliciously.

I am always amazed by the human attitude that we are set apart from the animal kingdom. Why? Because we are smart enough to invent iPads?

It is only the fact that we are presently the only creature on earth to have developed the thought process that gives rise to a sense of morality. Therefore we see these actions as wrong. Would I do them? Hell no. I see it as gruesome and uncalled for. But what drives those conclusions? My sense of morality. But this does not mean that me, you and everyone else who walks on the planet is not a biologically evolved creature who remains part of the circle of life. Ultimately the circle of life is about survival of the fittest, and, however, morally wrong or gruesome, this is all part of the circle of life and not entirely different then when a cat kills a bird or rat to play with or gift to it's master.

We have no more claim to be seperate from the animal kingdom, or master of the earth, than the dinosaurs.....and we know what happened to them!

Will fill a place on the food chain basically. No more than that. I don't believe that if our fate were to be the same as the dinosaurs the world would cease to exist. It would just evolve into something new.

An attitude that humanity is a required part of the make of of life on earth is just plain wrong IMO.

Catch 'em, kill 'em, incinerate 'em! There are some 'people' that just shouldn't live.
Act uncivilized and be treated accordingly.

I'm sure the convoluted thought process behind that opinion is just fascinating.

    Why?

PeTA kills lots of animals they supposedly are "saving". Many of the extremists think animals are better off dead than in our evil clutches.

It sounds kind of like a neighbor didn't like the noise or something.

True. Many anti-hunting people think that letting deer starve to death in the winter is better than hunting them to a manageable population.

Those dickheads need to be hunted to a manageable population! Wait - how cruel of me - let them starve to death!

Anyway, way back when I was about 12 we moved to a new home and within a week (while we were all at school/work) some savages stabbed and tried to kill all the ducks that came with the house. We had them in a small coop and pen outside. Some were wounded and escaped, and made it back to the house during the police investigation and the cops put them out of their misery. We never did find out who did it, but we were well armed in case they ever attempted to try it with humans. The police said since whoever did this was obviously violent, killing them would be cool if they anywhere on our property.

What the article doesn't point out is that at the age Bush was when he did such things(under 13) those behaviors are not abnormal. This is why sociopathy and psychopathy cannot be diagnosed or identified until after age 15.

Sixty-plus animals were released, is there a chance some killed each other?

The Tasmania Zoo gallery features more than a couple of critters up to the task.
