Just to get back into the game and relearn combat and how stuff works I attacked a planet. It was a well built up planet, and my ship was a stock standard non-upgraded newbie ship, so there was never any chance of actually taking it over. edit: I bear no ill will towards anybody and welcome free trade and exchange of knowledge regarding the bounds of peoples empires and trade station positions.
it buys the max at one port then sells it at the next. You can loop it, if you get profit both ways (Buys, then sells and buys new stuff at next port and goes back and forth doing that), or you can just do a one way trade (Buy, move and sell. Go back and buy, move and sell). Its good. Really helpful. You can set the number of repetitions it will do
Not really, it just shortens the number of clicks. You still have to manually move into the correct sector to begin with, and then rather than just clicking to do the trade route a hundred times it's best to do it in groups of ten or so just in case the profit margin starts dropping too low (since prices do change based on the demand) If you're not using trade routes all that does is establish to the rest of us that you must be aiming to make money another way, most lilely through conquering planets. Because no way would anyone want to do a trade loop a hundred times manually.
So how do I get colonists to colonize a planet!? Fuckers won't get off the gorram boat! [Never mind. They finally got off. ]
In planet menu, do a transfer, to planet, "all" Either that, or they watched Apocalypse Now..."Never get off the goddamn boat"...
No, you still have to manually goto the right sector and start the route manually. Literally all it does is when you click it moves from one sector to another, and trades whatever is selling in those two different sectors.
I'm announcing that I've joined the Browncoats as a free agent, and have promptly gone to war with Nautica. I will accept surrender and offer you a protectorate status if you give me tribute. I will also pay creds for the locations of DEVELOPED worlds other players own. The more developed the world, the more I will pay you. Yes, I am going the Evil/Conqueror route this game and if you're scouting for me, then I won't be gunning for your worlds. The time to decide if you're going to live is now, and the way to live is to side with me.
Damn you faisent!!! You'll roast in HELL for taking my Romulus/Remus system! You'll accept NOTHING, and like it! [action=Nautica]savagely beheads faisent's limp-wristed messenger, and drops him back into a large, barbed auto-piloted warp-probe targeted at faisent's backside.[/action]
Well, you've said so here, but not invited me in the actual game... Besides, I already sent you and NAHTMMM invites to join Nautican Space.
ooh, get 3 bases in one sector and you own that sector! bertie bassets licorice allsort empire, coming to sector near you!
Yup...and you get to do cool stuff like Deploy Sector Defenses! Wish I'd have figured that out prior to the start of faisent's unprovoked war of agression against me. Would I get my own decoder ring, and get to learn the secret handshake and stuff like that, if I join up? Ya know, based on the "2112" in your name, I'd have thought you'd have gone with Red Star, Temples of Syrinx, or possibly even the Elder Race of Man as your Alliance name.
