Okay, so it looks like I'll be moving to Bragg and staying there for next 3 1/2 years or so.

Well I'm looking at buying a house, but I'm wondering if the base population is going to increase or decrease. Also a friend of ours in Ft. Walton said that SOCOM is moving down there, and as PSYOPS is under SOCOM I wonder if they would be moving as well.

If so that would be SWEET! Two hours from home, living on the beach again.

I can't find shit on BRAC though!

Wish I could help. BRAC hasn't been on my mind since the last round about 3 years ago. I had some great links...maybe I can engage my memory and recall them.

I know an Italian woman (translator) who agreed Arabic is a bitch.
She said the first semester of her college class was just learning the alphabet and pronouncing the sounds! She soon realized she didn't have the mental chops for that rocket science!

The military language school (used to be taught at Monterey California) rates languages 1-4 according to difficulty. Spanish and Italian ranks a 1 (easiest) and Arabic and Mandarin Chinese a 4. :jayzus:

IMO anything non latin based kicks my ass - it doesn't "stick to my ribs" memory-wise. But I do know Cyrni Myka means "Black Cat" in Bosnian (Slavik based) because that was a record label and I saw the logo on t-shirts.
