The roundabout discussion of spoilers. For example, previews are often meant to be misleading, but if you read spoilers for a show, watch the preview and then tell everyone something like "I can't believe they gave away major twists in the preview." then someone else who reads spoilers jumps in and says something like "Nah, I think the preview was misleading" and then before long the rest of us are swimming in a sea of spoilers.
Oh do shut the fuck up. #1 I know how to handle spoilers. I would have never released next episode information without putting it in one. #2 I'm not responsible for other posters. If they are too dumb too put spoilers in tags that is their problem. One for which they deserve to be slapped and I'll be one of the ones slapping. #3 If they want to put something about nexts week show in this thread and as long as they spoiler tag it you've no buisness saying anything about it. Even if I had not read the spoilers my opinion of the teaser would have still been posted. It was stupid what they did. I don't think we need Big Brother Bailey around here chiding posters.
I wouldn't be so sure, as someone who is completely unspoiled I still have no idea what is going to happen next week apart from (information from the preview) Beyond that anything else could be entirely out of context, especially that final line spoken by a character.
Indeed. I know nothing about what will happen and I usually assume that the previews are 90% misdirection. Confirming the contents of a preview as fact is the same as posting a spoiler. So don't do it!
Clearly you don't understand the concept of... well anything really. I'm hoping I don't know specifics but you seem to actually be denying that confirming the events of a teaser as fact acts as a spoiler... which is odd.
The thread title has the word "SPOILERS" in big fucking capital letters. If that's not enough for you to piece together what you might find in the thread, you should probably avoid operating heavy equipment or handling sharp objects.
SPOILERS for this episode and preceding ones, aka the story so far. That's the generally accepted rule. Not 'take your chances'.
Everyone chill. UA is right, if you come into a thread where spoilers is in the thread title in big capital letters, and you expect not to be spoiled in some way, it's not really the fault of the people in the thread.
Fuck that. 'BSG 3x19 SPOILERS' means don't read it if you aint seen it. Not don't read it if you've not seen the whole fucking series.
I don't really see the big deal. OMG, teh previews are accurate?!?!? It's just...such a small thing to get so upset about.
Exactly. I don't know what the fuck is his problem. All I said was that I know the spoilers for the next episode and that it was stupid of them to put spoilers in the teaser for next week. It spoils people like him who don't want to know. I've yet to see a preview on this show that wasn't accurate so that arguement is just retarded.
So, in the future, thread descriptions should read "SPOILERS for this and subsequent episodes". Then the problem is solved and everyone can
