If you can't figure out the need for certification, transition, the seating of a new congress, getting a cabinet and other appointments in line, etc etc etc, when it comes to a change in government, then there is no point in trying to explain it to you. Hundreds of thousands have died in Iraq post invasion. Much of those maybe at the hands of non americans, but the simple fact is, the country went to the shitter because of the invasion.
