^I don't consider it to be a sacrilege if they do, and its done properly, I'm just wondering if they'll follow that particular storyline, since its where I punched out of the Avengers comics. I got tired of nearly every issue being about Hank Pym's problems, or being caused by Hank Pym's problems.

Not fair, Nolan is a Speilberg & Scorsese level mutant who'll be up on Hollywood Mount Rushmore.

The Dark Knight was a fabulous movie.

But you can't compare it to the Marvel movies. The Nolan Batman films are in their own universe separate even from Man of Steel and BvS. It's as if the Dark Knight never existed. It's the same with the Tim Burton versions. Those versions of Batman technically never existed. Those versions of Batman will not be part of the Justice League line of movies.

DC/WB is trying to start up the Justice League movies in the same way that Marvel got its Avengers movies up and running. So you have to compare the two lines and Diacanu is right. WB/DC executives are ambitious and naive in thinking that they can already match up with what Marvel has built. I'd also say they are very stupid and will probably fuck up the whole Justice League set of movies causing a premature end to the series. I don't think they can pull off what Marvel has done if they keep following the pathway done in Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman. It's like I said earlier: Those movies leak pessimism.

Captain America. Iron Man. Avengers. Thor. Even Ant-Man. All have optimism to them. You're rooting for the good guys. Think of the audience reaction in the first Avengers movie when the team shows up at the end standing over Loki. Whole theater nearly gave a standing ovation. When Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman showed up on the screen for the first time? Nothing. People were probably like me: How much longer do we have? I was not impressed.
