If you actually want to analyze the snob vs. Brad's style you would probably want to watch his midnight reviews or one of his binge watches. The snob character is well done by brad because brad is so well versed on things. That sneer is more of a sarcastic statement on sneer if you know his work. That is part of the joke is he is turning it up to eleven because that is what critics do.
