And keep in mind these children aren't children anymore, I'm guessing the youngest of the second generation is at least forty.

And the majority a lot older. Say somebody was eight when they were released from a camp in 1945, they would be most likely to have children in the late 50s/early 60s - ie be in their late 40s/early50s.
And the adults that were released would have probably had kids ten years or so earlier than that.
Apart from the odd blip of an older father, I'd be astonished if these dodgy claimants weren't my age or older.
