A week from today, Lucasfilm has their Star Wars panel, and we'll probably get the full trailer. The day after that, WB and Fox has their panels, so we'll be getting some Batman V Superman, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Deadpool goodies! Stuff that would be cool, but isn't as certain, The Force Awakens poster, directors and casting for DC's remaining slate, some Rogue One info, titles for the other anthology flicks.... Marvel and Sony won't be there.
Disney has it's own convention coming up shortly, where there will be a Star Wars presence (and most likely Marvel) so I wouldn't take it for granted that all the Star Wars stuff will be at comic-con.
Rumor-mongering at AICN says Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World) will direct Star Wars: Episode IX and that Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) is nuHan. Edit: I think the Trevorrow rumor is probably true, and the Paul rumor probably not.
*Pacing back and forth* C'mon, Star Wars panel, where the fuck are you??? *Googles* Ah, dammit, 3 hour time difference! Their 5 is my 8. Arggh!!
Okay, I'm live-blogging the live blog of the Star Wars panel. 20 minutes in, and they're still just sucking off the audience...
Ugh. Everything so far "we're really, really, REALLY devoted to making this like the OT. REALLY". Stop seducing me, I'm seduced, fuck me already. Gimme the goods.
Here's the live-blog if you wanna follow. Lotta fluff and softball, IMHO, but you might be edified by it. http://live.theverge.com/star-wars-comic-con-2015-liveblog/?_ga=1.202284433.1296614434.1423975066
