Fuck me, I totally missed that. I thought it was just an old batsuit and, given the "batwings" on the gloves, thought it was a small homage to The Dark Knight. But you're right; that suit has the unmistakable "R" symbol.
Also, looking at the design on Wonder Woman's tiara...I can't help but think that her "superness" is related to the empty hibernation tube on the Kryptonian ship in Man of Steel.
At about the 1:59 mark, when you see the full suit, if you look up, you can clearly see Robin's mask suspended in the air over it. Additionally, think about what Wayne says, "20 years in Gotham. How many of the good guys are left?"
Man I wasn't so sure about this one. I've waited all of my life for this and while it's not exactly how I imagined, it still looks freaking awsome! I wasn't sold on the idea, I wasn't sold on Batfleck, I wasn't sold on Jessie Eisenberg, but WB's has got me locked in now. I wasn't sure they could pull it off, but it's looking good and I feel like it's a good contrast with the Marvel movies. I love seeing Ma Kent giving Clark sound advice. I love Lex Luthor just being a total prick, I love Henry Cavil as Superman and even though I love Christain Bale, Ben Afleck seems like a good fit. Oh and Wonder Woman!!!!! I love Wonder Woman kicking ass!! DC came late to the game, but it looks like they are pulling some punches and no longer waiting time. Thank you DC for finally bringing a life long dream to reality. The red capes are coming!

Cranston SOOOOO should have been Luthor. Love the trailer, but I cant' take Jesse Eisenberg seriously in the role. Luthor isn't a chinless pretzel millennial. But Batfleck looks damn good, and I love the current Supes. And the movie is about exactly what I thought it was about.
I hope they don't make Wonder Woman and Aquaman kryptonian descendants. You can have a wide variety of amazing backgrounds - that will add to the story, not detract, IMO. The next GL movie is called Green Lantern Corps, so we'll likely get to see multiple alien GLs plus possibly all three humans - Jordan, Stewart and Gardner. Oh, and an interesting take on Gothan and Metropolis - the director indicated in the movie they are sister cities, like Oakland and San Francisco. Not canon, but I'm ok with it. And finally, a non-super model Amanda Waller. Hope they do the Wall justice - she's one of the best characters in comics IMO.

I doubt they are going with Kryptonian based powers. I wasn't sold on Eisenberg either, I'd rather have Hiesenberg, but he played a pretty good asshole in The Social Network so I can see him doubling down on the dicknesss in this. This trailer really sold me on all characters. Also, I think I just coined a phrase. Less Eisenberg, more Hiesenberg.

still geeking out on the BvS trailer but above all I will declare this: in your face Afflack haters, in what we saw he's a perfectly perfect Bruce Wayne (not enough "in-suit" dialogue to say for certain but I have every confidence) one thing though, why the fuck did they show his parents getting shot in the goddamned trailer?!!? Spoilerss much?????????
I hope that its not something which permanently scars Bruce and makes him do something to try and compensate for the loss of his parents.
