Michael Ironside is the general. Tricia Helfer is indeed in it, as is some bloke from Lost (don't watch it so don't know the name). I'm up to the first GDI mission in Act III which is an utter bastard compared to the difficulty of all the previous missions, so I put the mouse down before I damaged my monitor. Had to turn the graphics down one notch as the game occasionally crashed with a DirectX error on default (usually right at the end of the sodding mission!). Cutscenes are quite cool, despite the obvious greenscreen backdrops to the news reports.
Anyone played the '3rd' faction yet? I must try them in a skirmish when i get home from work this evening...
I just beat the GDI campaign yesterday. Yeah, it's indeed a bitch compared to the previous campaigns of CnC games (save that one Tiberian Dawn Nod mission... it's been nine years and I'm still frustrated) but a dozen mammoth tanks tend to heal all Nod related wounds. (hey, it's the single player campaign) Now into the Nod campaign, I think it's interesting that the story isn't a total divergence like all previous games, it's actually the same story told from two different sides.
installed it onto the laptop too for my 12 hour flight thats coming up only done two gdi missions as i wanna save some for the end of the month
