Not all history is equal. I'm pretty sure we don't use the works of Charles A. Beard as part of the curriculum because it's considered an incorrect interpretation of historical events. You might read one of his books in college, but not high school.

Subject matter not being used because it's incorrect is not the issue (though it would be nice to see Texas schoolbooks leave out a bunch of incorrect stuff about intelligent design).

Teachers are human beings. They will say things, in the course of a day, that may or may not be accurate. This has been true since I was in school. But, unless you can prove to me, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that any teacher is regularly and intentionally teaching children that all white people are guilty of all human atrocities and all other cultures/races/whatever are completely innocent, then you are falling for propaganda and should turn in your adult card and go back to kindergarten and start all over.
