Hey Bick, I ask you a legitimate question, does having a trust fund make one inherently a bad person or someone who’s opinions should be automatically dismissed just because they have a trust fund or as @Jenee likes to say, “trust fund baby”?

 

No, it doesn't.

However, it does lend the appearance of having helped reinforce your opinions, which are by and large forumlated by less than credible sources. Fairly or unfairly, your revelation that you are a trustfund beneficiary now colors the perception around you, akin to the 'FF is still in high school' meme.

Frankly, it's aggravating -- for me, as you doggedly hold on to uncredible and disproven ideas, and for you as the board has another thing to hold over you.

 

It's confusing why you don't just give it up, because in this thread you've argued against inherited advantage/disadvantage, so why bother keeping it?

I do too. If CRT is the lens through how teachers are taught how to teach or that is their influence, then they're likely going to take that attitude into the classroom with them. Then when they teach history, they use literature like the 1619 Project and books by Ibrim X. Kindi and Robin Diangelo and others like them then which are questionable and problematic in my opinion, then you end up with a Venn diagram like the one I posted yesterday (that got ignored), but I'll post it again.

So basically CRT isn't directly being taught, there's no text book per se, but it's influence is reaching K-12 schools. Parents are starting to figure all of this out and that is why the left is freaking out and trying to shut down debate. They're bringing those attitudes of CRT that I quoted into the classroom and influencing kids. I'll quote it again.
