Maybe people here are too old to have dealt with this sort of thing, but there needs to be an understanding these sorts of "quizzes" are often on apps where randos create the quizzes. These quizzes are not vetted or approved in many cases. These apps rely a lot on user feedback and reporting to evaluate them. The other problem becomes what is the quiz on? If the quiz is being used in a modern politics class the question may have relevance. I remember dealing with a presidential election in the beginning of my senior year of high school and ideas like this were addressed by the teacher while he covered the primaries in class.

These apps are interesting and engaging for the students. It is a live competition where the students are competing for the highest score with fastest answering. The tests can suck because the creator could be Dayton Kitchens for all the teacher knows.

There has to be some connective proof that the school created this test, or that the teacher even bothered to evaluate it before giving it to the students. When you can select these online educational games in real time when you have a moment in class you might bring up a shit one because you has a few moments to fill.

I do not doubt the question came up, but blaming it on schools teaching CRT in nefarious ways is not supported at all. Being @Federal Farmer and hi9s Trump sources just make shit up there is no actual connection to fact.

The question still seems badly thought out, but it definitely seems inline with the type of questions asked in the exam.

So this is not a high school course then. AP courses are not high school courses. @Federal Farmer doesn't need to know that because he isn't going to college when he graduates.

Did you attend public schools? Even in high school, I could not have told you shit about Democrat vs Republican. Despite being called a "bleeding heart liberal" throughout my childhood, I had no idea what it meant. and even after high school, I couldn't tell you if a liberal was Democrat or Republican.

My younger son, though, is very politically savvy. and I feel he's too young for that and I feel like he is an anomaly in that respect.

If this was an actual test question, maybe - MAYBE, one child in the classroom would have answered it. The rest would have passed it over. No one would have taken a pic.

Ok, I then I can understand the question being on the test and yes, it would be a relevant question and would have a single correct answer. Because the test would be on whether or not the student has been paying attention to current events.
