That you continue think CRT isn’t being taught in schools proves you don’t know what you’re talking about.

No one (or at least hardly anyone) is advocating that actual CRT be taught in K-12 schools. That's like taking the position that we should teach pharmacology at the K-12 level--most people would agree that graduate school courses are too advanced at that level, and no one is actually advocating that we should be teaching it to kindergarteners. So on it's face, you and @Federal Farmer are taking a stance against an unreasonable position no one is really advocating for.

But beyond that, it's clear that both of you believe CRT to be something other than what it actually is. You've both fallen for the right-wing propaganda on this, which has characterized CRT as having anything to do with race, including making white people feel "guilty" for racism. So even though your position against teaching CRT is facially not objectionable, below the surface of that position is something that actually is objectionable because it's based on a faulty premise. There are valid arguments that we shouldn't necessarily be teaching kindergarteners about racism, slavery, etc., but those topics absolutely belong in a high school curriculum to some degree.

That one at least takes a swipe.

Almost like it's a massive field of study and trying to boil it down to a few reductive points is really hard and will misinformation and important context.

The fact you're so pissed off about it despite admitting you don't really know what it's about says the the right wing marketing attempt to make CRT a broad brush against anything related to race is working.

Then what objection is left to banning it in K-12?

That suggests you don't actually know what I think it is.

False. That's the line smug bullshitting teachers use to gaslight there way into the appearance of innocence. There is much more to it than that. If they get caught crossing the line, it can just be disavowed as not "true" CRT.

The faulty premise is not mine, but one that is attributed to me by others.

I wouldn't dispute that as presented.

You really need to stop holding yourself up as some kind of arbiter of intellectual prowess. You're not qualified for the position.

You've mentioned in the past that you're a decent mechanic I believe?

That being the case, a bunch of cars on the road don't seem to be in great condition. In 50 words or less please tell me the specific causes of the problems and what should be done to rectify them.

    Specific details, no generalizations thanks.

I believe you have just sabotaged your own position. Groups of cars, like groups of people, are not monoliths to be generalized. You must look at each individual on it's merits. Where it came from, where it is going and how the time was spent in the interim. But the shady dealer in bulk used cars is gonna push the good individuals to the front, then pull every shuck and jive in his arsenal, up to and including a fake display of outraged indignance when you insist a mechanic inspect each one before buying , in order to surreptitiously unload the lemons.

All right, let's try this. @Uncle Albert and @Federal Farmer, outside of the hysterical shrieking about Critical Race Theory and the never-ending merry-go-round over what it does or doesn't mean, what is being added to schools' curricula that is untrue?

Bingo. And when you start seeing patterns it makes sense to try and figure out the source of those patterns.
