I know @shootER advised Dayton to save his diary thread a few weeks ago. I wonder if he did, or like all advice in his life he chose to ignore it and think he knew better.

If he did, then that's good for him I guess.

If not, then he could have lost the last 15 years of The Idiot's Guide on Being a Failure: Wet Dreams and Delusions.

And if he did lose that.

I can't say I'm upset or even that bothered that he's gone. He would shit up threads just to shit them up. He claimed he didn't insult first, but he would often just enter a thread to throw out some insult or comment to a poster. He did say he did it because that poster insulted him, his ideas, intelligence, or his family in the past. I refrained from insulting his family out of courtesy, but after his latest shot towards me, I didn't even get pissed off by it, but more annoyed by him. Annoyed like I would be annoyed by an insect buzzing by my head, or by having to hear some kid crying in a theater. And decided fuck him, no more courtesy. And I know that one of his tender spots was insults at his family. So I figured if I did that, it might trigger another meltdown. Guess he did it on his own.

Dayton gave plenty of ammo to use on him - no reason to involve family members, imho.

It takes two to tango, and it takes more than one person to derail a thread. If I wanted my threads moderated so strictly, I'd post in the Green Room.

Dayton has been doing the same old shit for years; why ban him now? And why is it the one admin acting unilaterally rather than a strong consensus?

He was told last time he was banned (the 90 day he got last year) the next would be a perma.

He was told after his last ban that the next time for be a permanent ban.
