I'm sure worse have been elected in the United States.

And is it about my life experiences that you find lacking? What is it in my self education that you find lacking? I have read thousands of books. Tens of thousands of magazines.

Uncertain about where your dissatisfaction is.

I'm not sure that's a compliment to the nation you consider superior to everyone else.

A significant lack thereof that I have explained to you many times.

Because your self education extends to nothing more than read some books, magazines and shit off the internet. You haven't travelled. You haven't tried different things. You have ever extended yourself beyond your comfort zone and you are dismissive of everything and everyone that falls outside it.

And? So have I. But only a percentage of what I have learned and experienced comes from such things.

Well, this is not surprising since, as usual, you fail to grasp the concept.

Yes, thousands. I still own thousands. When I left Strong I did donate just over 200 to the library there. When I left Norphlet I donated 25 to their library.

    No.
You haven't been anywhere aside from Arkansas, Texas, and short visits to other states. You have zero life experience outside bumfuck Arkansas. You are dismissive and ignorant of anything that doesn't fit in with your narrow, small minded view of the world. You have a huge lacking when it comes to understanding basic social interactions.

You are not liked, you have very few friends, which you admit, you will never be able to convince anyone to advance you into in any position of real authority. Tell us, how long have you been claiming you'll be a head coach next year?

You misinterpret just about everything, and can't understand basic concepts that most people have by the time they're half your age. You've been proven wrong repeatedly on here and every other board you visit.

So what if you've read thousands of books, which is doubtful. It doesn't make you experienced or even knowledgeable in it.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, you are the laughing stock of this boar and other boards you visit.

You are a failure as person and as a human, which is something which many people on here will agree with.

Consider this, you have called the whole board a collection of loser nonentities. Yet they all look down on you with derision, contempt, and consider you to be a loser and a joke. Where does that put you.

That says more about them than it does than me.

and given I get plenty of positive rep responses to various posts, I think the claim that they "all look down on you" is a vast overstatement on your part.

As for the following statement by you.

You are not liked, you have very few friends

I'm uncertain how and why you equate this with being "ill educated"

President Nixon was also not generally liked and had few friends, yet I'm pretty certain his education and intelligence has never been seriously doubted.

    It's always someone else's fault, isn't it?
And you proved my point, you understand very little. You can read as much as you want, but since you are incapable of understanding it, you haven't learned anything.

Is it possible that Nixon's education and intelligence was never doubted? That's possible.

Is you education and intelligence doubted, most definitely. If you want proof, read this thread, read other threads you post in. Why does this thread exist? Because you are not intelligent, you are not educated, you are not even respected in the slightest.

And not being liked goes back to your own delusions that you are intelligent or educated, you are a fool and an imbecile. Anyone can see that, yet you consider yourself an elite. I suggest you look into Dunning-Kruger syndrome, but of course you'll dismiss that as well.

Well Ed that is your opinion and I believe there is a saying about opinions and assholes. Everybody has one.

But it isn't a common opinion even on message board regarding me. Not at PoliticalForum, Political Hotwire, Debate Politics, FearlessFriday, or a host of others.

And certainly not an opinion shared by people who know me. I'm not sure why I should take seriously the opinions of a relative handful of people on one message board.

To have read "thousands" of books, Dayton would have to be getting through more than one per week consistently for decades.
I doubt his chicken coop holds that many.

I'm a fairly avid reader and as far as I'm aware, I've read a few hundred.

I know I'm an asshole, nothing new there.

Yes it is, I've read what others think of you on other boards. The consensus is the same. And you claim I'm a liar.

    Proof?

It's not a handful on one board, it's many on several boards.

Reading one book a week Rick is not difficult in the least. I've read a huge number of books in one or two days with ease.

    I'm 48. thirty years since I was 18. That is 1560 weeks.

Why does it have to be specific? There are so many different places and activities. Hundreds (if not thousands for the latter).

Take a look at your comments up thread about Russia. Why no go to Russia? Why not try a Russian restaurant? Why not learn to speak Russian? Why not learn to cook Russian food? Why not try and meet some Russian people and make friends with them? Why not find out about the religious diversity in Russia and research the Russian Orthodox religion? Why not try and learn about Russian culture and traditions over the ages?

That's 7 suggestions that come from just ONE of your comments.

Well, for one thing it shows that you aren't interested in the views of others and of the benefits to be gained from friendships and good working relationships that might, and probably would, develop and augment your own life education.

    Well liked probably not.

But that doesn't mean people there hold the same opinions about me as people here do.

By the way I don't believe in conspiracies against me (or any conspiracies with few exceptions).

What I see here is more akin to a mob mentality where you have lots of people wanting to "join in" when they see a handful of people all attacking one member. It is basic herd mentality.

I would like to go to Russia if I had time and money but I can do little about that. I do not know of a Russian restaurant anywhere near here. If you do shoot me the address. I have had an interest in learning to speak Russian in hopes of one day being able perhaps to read Cold War era Soviet documents should they become available.

I don't cook aside from the most basic of items.

Perhaps if I could find some Russian people around reasonably close I would give it a shot.

And I've researched Russian religion(s) and culture quite a bit. Hard not to for someone involved in history as arguably Russia has the most varied and interesting history of any modern nation.

    You misunderstand Ed.

I do not want to cook?

Are you (and perhaps El Chup) implying that is some kind of character flaw?

There are probably millions who don't want to cook.

If you're a teacher of any competence at all, then you know that students can and regularly do pass classes without learning a thing.

You are classified as ill-educated because you do not learn a thing. If you do not understand how that fails to conflict with your alleged credentials, that merely reflects your incompetence as a teacher.

Maybe I did, but now you are showing that you don't want to do something to expand your experiences. And that is a character flaw.

Of course you could also think it's the wife's duty to cook.

This is precisely the right prescription. I've travelled in Russia on multiple occasions (including during the Soviet era), I've supervised Russian employees, and I have Russian friends. There are things to know about Russia that cannot come from a book or an essay in Foreign Affairs. I have a knowledge of Russia similar to your knowledge of Iran. And knowing one foreign culture makes it far easier to notice the nuance in others. don't expect Dayton to achieve yours or my level of experience about Iran or Russia per se, but it would be good for him to get such a thing about something that is unusual or different to his background. He should visit a major US city and go to Mexico. Those are both easy enough starting points.

Herds tend to stay together. That's why handful of cowboys can control hundreds or even thousands of cattle.

Or a dog can control....... oh yes that's it.

Not cattle perhaps. More like sheep.......
