A Harley Quinn movie? I love the character, but she's always tethered to the Joker. I'm not so sure she can carry her own movie.
Then you missed all of the 00's, cuz in the comics, she broke up with him, became her own character, and now leads her own team of Harley fangirls.
John Berg and Geoff Johns are the Kevin Feige of DC now. Finally, someone's steering the ship. http://www.superherohype.com/news/3...s-jon-berg-and-geoff-johns-to-co-run-together
Justice League Dark is going to be an animated movie. http://www.superherohype.com/news/375949-justice-league-dark-animated-movie-revealed
While I like Zatanna (Smallville's version was well done and smokin' hot), and I enjoyed the Constantine story I read, I'm kinda meh on the supernatural in comics. Also, I don't like the endless recycling of the Justice League name; it kinda dilutes the brand.
Swamp Thing kinda dances the line between magic and pseudo-science, so I can forgive it. I'm just in it for him to get to the big screen someday.
There were only two memorable things about that film. And they were both attached to Adrienne Barbeau.
It's a great poster, and very courageous, too: No-one not already in the know will understand what the movie is about from that.
Video of three critics who got to do a Justice League set visit. Half hour long, but the first 7 minutes alone should give you hope. Key bullet points. -Major tone shift from BvS. Brighter, funnier, happier, almost like an Avengers movie. -Ezra Miller's Flash is going to steal the show. He most resembles the animated Flash from the 00's. -Flash and Cyborg are the funnest of the new characters. -Batman is happier, and trying to live up to the legacy of Superman. -J.K. Simmons as Gordon is the most Gordon-y Gordon put to film. Think a live-action version of 90's animated Gordon. -The new vehicles are going to be very toy friendly. -Para-Demons will be the key disposable grunt villains.
Brian Cranston has been cast as Zordon in the Power Rangers movie. I put this in the DC thread to note bitterly, that he wasn't good enough for Luthor, apparently, but Zordon, oh, hells yeah. Also, I didn't want to start a Power Rangers thread.
Well, of course they wanted Mark Zuckerberg type, so Eisenburg was a shew-in. I would prefer Cranston or even Clancy Brown, but nooooo.
Cranston was an obvious choice for nuGordon, specially since he's voiced the character before (not that I'm complaining about J.K. Simmons in any way). I hope he'll turn up in a DC or Marvel film somewhere. I liked EisenLuthor, but a HeisenLuthor (see what I did there?) would've been cool, too.
Oh well, we've got J.K. Simmons in Batman, Willem Dafoe in Aquaman, Jeff Goldblum in Thor: Ragnarok, and Michel Keaton in Spider-Man. Let's not be greedy.
