She just sounds like Gaga.
I mean, Heath Ledger doesn't sound like Nicholson or Hamill, and Phoenix doesn't sound like any of them.
If Joker can morph, so can Harley.
Especially in an Elseworld movie.

I have to say I would go without the campy accent for this particular version. Normally I would be for maintaining some form of the accent based on how it sort of defines her crazy, but in this case the version tends to be very grounded, especially without the batman shenanigans. To keep it from getting campy you would want to keep that campy accent out of it.

I can see why they would do it and it would not be missed. Just go with it and as long as they put the same quality into it that they do the first one, it will be done right.

I see a lot of aping of scenes from the first one.
I hope we get more than that.

This is clearly an Elseworlds situation though, so the characters aren't supposed to completely line up to their prime universe counterparts. Joker is usually a criminal mastermind created in part by Batman, but Arthur is very much neither of those things. Arthur is more of a "what if Patrick Bateman grew up poor" character, with the Batman connection just barely tacked on.

I mean, that's a pretty great trailer. I was already really interested to see the movie but am even more interested now

So it looks like the musical aspect is going to be them in a sort of dream world when in they're actually doing things in reality? The scene where they are dancing on a stage and then it transitioned right over to them dancing on a street with mayhem going on behind them stood out
