Jesus Christ, even more reason to break up the EU. This guy probably wouldn't get a fair trial in Russia, who does, but Russia had every right to have this guy extradited.
Those two statements cannot be true at the same time, as long as we stick to the decades-long policy of refusing extradition to countries without due process. What the guy should have been is tried and imprisoned here.

Oh, please. Name the day of the week and the muslims likely carried out a terrorist attack some where in the name of Islam. The attacks are that common. Facts are true even if you don't like them and ignoring facts is not a virtue even if you really wish it was. We are talking about an extremely violent and problematic people and it is their religion/ideology which makes tgem so not their race. So please do stop lying.
On January 23rd of this year there was not a recorded Islamic terrorist attack. They missed 4 days in February, and then somehow skipped April 6th. They carried out 4 attacks on April 7th, 6 on April 8th, and 10 on April 9th, so was the 6th some kind of Islamic holiday or were they just being lazy Muslims? This sort of thing is why people from an urban environment learn not to respond to people hailing them or looking them in the eye. It puts a psychological break on the incident if you do not acknowledge the threat. Then the guy has to physically block you. Sounds more like your friend needs to stop looking into cars he has no business looking into. Given what he did he probably looked like a good victim. I know it is victim blaming, but a lot of these guys look for an easy target. Some people walk around like a mark. On my trips back to nyc I had to actually get back into walking like a city person because I was attracting bums and even a couple of threats from homeless muggers. Trying to get back down south on the edge of a huge snowstorm that was causing flight cancellations I had to get from grand central to Penn station and decided to walk it to waste some time in the layover. Some guy came over and was going to help me with my bag, and I ended up being in a southern state of mind and thought he was going to the station with me. Yeah he was looking for money. You have to be aware or else you look like a tourist.
