Frankly, I'm surprised the stay was granted. Texas Republicans seem unable to get it up unless the state is murdering someone on their behalf.

Tennessee have paused all further executions, but it remains a possibility that they could try again. Despite what she did, her life story is one of constant abuse and mental illness, culminating in incompetent trial representation. I don't agree with the death penalty, but I also have zero sympathy for a psychopath like her. She kept a chunk of her victim's skull as a trophy after torturing her and carving a pentagram in her chest. Don't execute her (or anyone) but she deserves no one's sympathy.
