@When you see events like this it makes every time they kill an unarmed black guy look much worse. FFS why didn't they let george floyd sleep off his drugs? he did not try to overthrow the government or have a weapon. All he did was have some drugs and a fake twenty. This guy shot at them so close they could hear the bullet whistle and was drunk. sounds like a danger to the community to me, and they said fuck it and he turned himself in.

I'm not even talking about ventilating the guy, they could have moved one of their vehicles into position and stopped him long enough for someone to throw spike strips or other measures to keep him from going anywhere.

I cannot be entirely sure as no court is going to confirm punishment on a minor, and we only have the mother and lawyer talking to an idiot, aka journalist.

Anyway, this is probably something like an ACD. The probation is probably a 3 month probationary period where the person is not to get into any trouble with the law and the charges get dismissed. This is normal for first time juvenile offenders. The judge can often add in restitution and some community service or a paper on some rando person I guess.

No one goes to probation for three months. Probation requires getting a probation officer in your town assigned to you. By the time they noptify his local probation office and they assign him a date to come in and meet his local probation officer he would be done with a 3 month probation. This is why they often do not do a three month probation. However, a 90 day period where he does not get into any more trouble and the charges are dismissed is a thing.

Let us also not forget this is a first time offender and a juvenile. Even if this is not dismissed after 90 days it will be sealed and expunged.

This seems to be an attempt to get support for a civil trial, and some really bad reporting by yet another fox affiliate.

Just glad there was no one hurt when these stupid yahoos were driving like idiots. I am sure they will be slapped on the wrists while the victims were harassed for being rightfully pissed. It is a good thing we see it as it probably would barely make the news if the bar wasn't a gay bar. I will be the first to admit that if there was not a minority owning that bar the owner would probably still get beaten up for rightfully being pissed off at two rookies who crashed into their business and fucked it up, but the news would probably cover it a lot less over all even though the department needs to get rid of these morons and then make sure they are never cops again. We do not need cops like this.

Aside from that they should drug test them and give them whatever fines and traffic citations are associated with this. However, they need to find something better to do for work. They also need to spend some time in jail for assault too. I am not talking a huge amount of time, but a good message for the other cops.

When the paramedics give a fatal dose of ketamine because the police tell them some bullshit about the unarmed black man they were abusing because someone complained about a person walking while black they get some justice.

I guess the police union doesn't cover the EMT's complicit in their violent torture and abuse of unarmed black men.

Fucking good because the EMTs could have been the heroic saving angels in this case and helped a poor man having a panic attack after having the cops called on him by some karen MF who doesn't like black people in their neighborhood, and then the police beat the shit out of this poor 140 pound dangerous criminal who was out walking while black. Then when this poor guy is freaking the fuck out because police run up on him and attack him for no reason at the call of some neighborhood asshole, the paramedics give him a huge dose of ketamine to shut him up while they all figure out how to cover this abuse up, and oopsie he dies.

There better be some fucking jail time for these assholes so the EMT's understand you don't help the cops cover up their assaults. You should be the people who intervene when you have a chance and give a victim a break by taking them to a hospital instead of putting them to death like an animal to save the cops from some punishment for their dumbfuckery racist assaults.

The person who called the police on the black man should be found and fucked with too. Walking while black is not a crime or reason to call 911..
